I’ve been a few times over the past year and each time I’ve listened to some very interesting speakers and had the chance to chat to people involved in all different aspects of property owning, investing and developing.
Last night I was lucky enough to win the draw for booking on to the event 72 hours before it takes place. It’s funny really because I’ve only planned my attendance at the meeting with certainty three times so far and have won the draw twice. It goes to show that if you fail to plan you plan to fail.
My prize is a spot on a Webinar worth £199 held by Simon Zutshi in a fortnight that is going to teach me everything I need to know about finding finance for a property deal. These are not going to be ways of financing your next home, the high street bank, building society or even better an independent mortgage broker (we’d recommend speaking to Lee, Adrian, Bill or Myles from Howard Financial) is the best bet for that. This is for the unusual opportunities, the conversions from commercial to residential, the splitting of titles, the major renovation projects etc.
Having been a mortgage broker for 8 years and an estate agent for the best part of 15 years you’d think there wouldn’t be a lot I could learn about property and finance but knowing the information I learn each time I attend a meeting I am sure that the webinar is going to be well worth investing my time in.
If you haven’t been along to a meeting, drop me a line and I’ll sort you out with an invite (probably for free if you haven’t been along before). If you invest your time in training you never know what might happen.
